De Havilland 88 Comet
The Shuttleworth Collection’s DH88 Comet performs a hard ‘break’ to port to show the sleak lines of the aircraft’s wing. It was the design of this wing which enabled the aircraft to cruise efficiently at high speed and win the England Australia race in 1934.
