Ditchling Arts Festival
Every year the city of Brighton on England’s South Coast has an Arts Festival. In association with that Festival, the village of Ditchling, nestling at the foot of the South Downs, has its own Arts Festival. Ditchling is a very ‘arty’ community and has been the home of some famous people such as Eric Gill, Frank Brangwyn, Roger Moore, and Dame Vera Lynn.
During 2013 a photographic exhibition was to be held featuring the work of three local photographers. As one of those photographers, I was ‘volunteered’ by the other two to produce the artwork required for publicity. The title of the exhibition was ‘CAPTURING SUSSEX’ and shows three completely different perspectives on this beautiful county.
Because the photography was quite diverse, the poster could not feature any of the work of the three photographers so a different design was looked at featuring a lens with a diaphragm and the three photographers collectively known as ‘f3′
