The image of the church and its doors was sourced but then the doors had to be opened; this meant that a church interior had to be found to fit ‘inside’. Not much was going to be seen so liberties could be taken with the perspective. Of course, no wedding is complete without confetti.
If this doesn’t make you go ‘Aaawwww’ then I despair of you. But if the concept of a brutal, unforgiving Dalek wearing a top hat and bow-tie and marrying a demure, attractive weighing machine wearing a garter in church is not surreal, then I don’t know what is!
