Singin’ in the Rain
Could I transform this street scene into a nighttime scene after a rain shower?
The trick of making something that is dry look as though it is wet means that there should be some reflections. Those reflections will be slightly darker than the source of the reflection. If the image looks as though it was set at night then you can have reflections of street lights and house lights as well. I was asked to make this street scene look as though it was raining … and if it’s raining then one ought, really, to have a guest appearance by Gene Kelly!
