Rapunzel Let Down Your Hair!
I often wonder about the workings of the human brain – well mine, at least! I wasn’t sure quite what this photograph was meant to represent but when I saw this starting image I immediately saw it as a sort of prison on top of a tower and then my brain leapt to the German Fairy Tale about Rapunzel. Yeah, yeah, OK, I know what you’re thinking!
A new rear to the bay window had to be constructed, a suitable photograph of an attractive young maiden had to be found and then she needed a ‘hair transplant’ and a nice garden to make her imprisonment more pleasant. The pastel colours of the garden, the young girl’s clothes and the warm tone of the wood blend beautifully in this image.
